Avignon help

erly May 30, 2006 10:14 AM

We have decided to to spend 4 days in Avignon in mid-Sept.
Would love suggestions in Avignon, or close for star restaurants, and typical regional restaurants.
Thanks in advance

If you are going to travel around the area a bit, one of my favorite places for a Sunday lunch is L'Auberge de la Loube in Bioux. The cooking is unpretenious but typically Provencal and delicious. We also recently enjoyed L'Hotel du Presbytere in Saignon near Apt.

I can't imagine going to Avignon and not going to Christian Etienne.
