Mexico City: Airport

I have a long layover in Mexico City coming up and would like to know if there are any good places to eat at the airport. I prefer not to visit Wings or similar places - maybe there's a good Mexican food place?
exit to the left and walk a short way to the sidewalk stands where airport workers eat. I had a delicious meal at Tacos Colombianos (something like that) and was soooooo happy I didn't get anything inside the terminal. You walk past the Metro stop and they are right there.
But I only had an hour -- you could go further if you have more time, and there are baggage check/locker places in the airport.
one place at least used to be good -- tacanon which is on the way down the hallway to the pueblo bus. but it might not be good anymor
in the main food court area, there is always taco inn, which while it is a chain is at least serviceable and has very good guacamole.
I didn't leave the airport since there were so many places, other than Wings, inside the domestic terminal. I went to Nutrissa, a health food store, where they make amazing chicken salad sanwich/tostadas on toasted pita bread. Mine was served with panela, tomatoes and avocado. It was not Mexican, but delicious nonetheless. The place gets packed with flight attendants and pilots taking their meals to go. I also found a place called 100% Natural that makes fresh juice drinks. I am glad the offerings at the airport have improved.
I don't know the name or terminal but if you're going to Houston it's in that general gate area. There's a nice restaurant where you can sit down with a little bar in the middle. Very good service!
