We are celebrating our wedding anniversary in Berlin (actually, we live here). Does anyone have an opinion on the best, most creative "Edelkuche" here? Must be really fresh food. I have heard about Vau, but is it worth it? Is there someplace else we should try? Our favorite world dining experiences, to give you an idea of what we're looking for, have been Aquavit in New York, Arzak in San Sebastian, Astrid y Gaston (or Gaston y Astrid) in Lima. Thanks! (And in exchange, I am happy to help with more everyday kind of restaurants here, we've been pleasantly surprised in the 3 months we've been here.)

you want foam? foam on everything? foam foam foam? go to shiro i shiro. Rosa Luxemberg 11. Nothing like a 15 year old idea to schicky-up a trendy Mitte restaurant. Sorry for the sarcasm, the asparagus linguini was wonderful and the japanese fusion thing seemed to work. Nice booths too. Eager to hear what others come up with.
