I’m a vegetarian (not vegan)and my friend is allergic to wheat. Usually we eat Asian food to accommodate both our dietary restrictions. We are going to be staying in the Bloomsbury district in London and near the Champs-Elysees in Paris . I was hoping that we could get some good cheap Indian, Vietnamese, or Chinese food in these areas. Or any other ideas that would accommodate the two of us.

  1. You're in luck with Indian, vegetarian, cheap and Bloomsbury. Take a look at the various cheap vegetarian Indian restaurants along Drummond Street, nr Euston Station, places like Ravi Shankhar's. Word of warning though, recent reviewers have not been complimentary about these places, especially the rude service.

If it's still there, Malabar Cafe, an excellent Kerala Indian place on either Great Russell or Little Russell near the British Museum certainly fits the bill.

      1. If you're up for a small hike (10 min walk), there's a lovely little vegetarian restaurant on Neal Street called "Food For Thought." Great lunch options, also great for a quick and cheap dinner.
