  1. Good luck on your trip, Liza. There are lots of posts about dining in the three cities you mention, Rome, Florence & Venice. Check out the previous threads. If you don't find what you need, give us some more information about your specific desires - i.e. budget, food preferences, etc. Chowhound does not deal with shopping tips, so you'll need to get those elsewhere.

Hope that you have a wonderful time on your trip.

I tried to look at he last posted info but only found Rome... I'm pretty new to this web site.....

We want resonable priced places both for lunch and dinner...

Liza, when you go to "Search Chowhound" function, just before the map comes up, type in Florence and hit "Search". You will get a lot of posts about Florence, including mine from last year. Reading those will give you a wealth of information about restaurants in Florence. Do the same for Rome, etc.

As a hint, since you're new to this website, you will get better specific information if you give a dollar figure ($15-25) instead of "reasonable". What is reasonable in NYC is over the top in Peoria, etc.

        Have a great trip!

Pizzeria Da baffetto. This place is really incredible, not to be missed!

We've moved this thread from the International Board to the Italy board. To the original poster - you should have more success with your search on the Italy board.

      2. Hi all,

This site has a very narrow focus on food, so please keep your suggestions on point. Nonfood matters are beyond the scope of our site, sorry.
