I'm heading down to Veracruz at the end of April and wanted to find out if anyone had any good food recommendations, whether it be restaurants or street food from markets or whatnot. Thanks!

If you get tired of the heat and humidity in Vera Cruz, you may wish to travel an hour into the mountains, north west, to Xalapa. A cool, lovely, and sophisticated college town. We had some memorable meals there, which I believe I posted about last year. It has the "second most beautiful archeological museum in Mexico", not to be missed.

We look forward to your report.
