Whatever restaurants you go to, do not miss the fresh fruit that you buy in markets. We spent the month of May in Andalucia ten years ago and are still talking about the strawberries, cherries, melons, pineapples, and nisperos (little apricot-like fruits). The strawberries are unbelievable. You'll be there later in the season but the melons should be perfect. If you're not homesteading, equip yourselves with a knife and some spoons.
