I visit every other June in even-numbered years. I've had some amazing meals at Once Upon a Table, and at a place near the old Perfumery...The Plantation maybe? I love conch chowder with sherry peppers, and bangers and mash at the Hog Penny!

Hmmm, Plntation and Once Upon a Table closed years ago.

Let's see, there's Bistro J on Chancery Lane, Port O'Call and Silk on Front Street. Waterloo House on Pitts Bay Road. . The Lemon Tree Cafe on Queen St (near the bookstore) is really good for lunch. The Newport Room at the Fairmont Southampton is best for a $$$ blowout. The Reefs in Southampton is good. There are still myriad Italian restaurants (go figure).

I love going down on the beach at Ariel Sands where you can practically sit in the water and have drinks and good sandwiches delivered to you. Also really cool at sunset.

Cambridge Beaches at the west end is good, but pretty spendy.

Rustico's in Flatts is good too.

Hi Athena,
Thank you for the information. Regarding the plethora of Italian places: I am grateful for the fresh tomato salads I've had at some. Coming from CT, after a long winter it is amazing how delicious a simple tomato can be! I'll look forward to trying your suggestions in June. Can't wait to get back to beautiful Bermuda. We're about to have yet another snow storm...
