Havana food--any new info since the '04 thread?

I've looked at the '04 and '02 posts. Anyone have anything to add?

    Lots of great places to eat in Havana. Los Nardos, across from the Capitolio, and La Palengue, near the Palacio de Convenciones, are two of my favorite restaurants. Cheap, popular with locals, and fresh, very well prepared Cuban cuisine. These two are just the tip of the iceberg. Lots of great Paladares (private restaurants) as well.
