If you're going to be anywhere near Abergavenny, try to get to the Walnut Tree Inn. Ownership has changed but, hopefully, the high quality continues.

As for Laugharne, no food recommendations, but be sure to stop in at Brown's Hotel for a pint. It, too, has recently changed ownership, but, hopefully, the locals still show up for their evening pints. I've spent a handful of evenings there and had some extrememly "colorful" times!

Swan Cottage is my favorite B&B -- only one room with a queen bed. Jo and Jeffrey the perfect hostess and host.

Recall reading that several pubs in Solva, quaint seaside village on the coast near St David's, were good stops for lunch, however don't recall anything extraordinary. That said, the drive on the coast of Pembrokeshire is well worth the visit, in and of itself.
