I am most interested in Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Priorat, Toro, Jumilla and Yecla, but would love to hear recommendations for any other parts as well. And here is a quick recommendation of my own from a trip last weekend: Molino de Palacios in Penafiel (in the Ribera del Duero) for incredible roasted lamb. Also try their salad specialty, which is a mix of pickled squab and turkey. It is an impossibly charming hilltop town among vineyards as far as the eye can see. It is small and you can visit all the bodegas in a day.
