restaurants in St. Martin
We just got back from Grande Case on Saturday.
The new airport has a few kinks to work out, such as apparently the Tower cannot communicate with the terminal so our flight was posted on the monitors as boarding and then departed and there was still no sight of the plane!
But we are in a food forum so...
We ate again at Rosemary's in Marigot with Tony Bourdains review on the back of the menu, the fish is great and the service friendly.
We also got some great bread from Le Sucrerie down the street.
We had a very nice dinner with not perfect service at Escapade in Grande Case, but our new discovery is La Case Au Rhum right next to the Lolos.
Laurent was trained in Paris, worked in restaurants in New York and makes simple but delicious french/Caribbean dishes-excellent value for the money and well worth visiting.
We also made two visits to Sol E Luna in Mt Vernon-the family is warm and gracious and the 7 hr lamb in brik is delicious! Le Pressoir was a disappointment- severe lags in service. And we couldn't get to Pinel this time, the ferry is on strike, so no Karibuni!
