<content>I have one recommendation butI haven't eaten there myself. It's just worth to go and look around though because the place is beautiful. It's almost a palace. It's the official house for the Alentejo region complete with library, restaurant and bar. The place is really like out of the old days. Run down and in dire need of renovation but you can imagine without problem how the aristorcracy threw grand and glittering parties in these rooms in the heydays of Portugal. Really great. So even if you don't go there to eat for dinner, look in, have a snack at the bar and enjoy the ambiance.

It's very much in the city center.
