Best deal for a high-end lunch in HK/ Tokyo?
Looking for the equivalent of a 2-3 star Michelin establishment at which the lunch options are half the price of dinners. Have found it a great way to sample some of the better places in London, Paris, NYC, and so many other places, at such a better price. And, we tend to eat our main meal at lunch anyway.
Any recs would be greatly appreciated!
Taillevent Joel Robuchon in Roppongi is delicious. Have not been to Saint Pau in Nihonbashi (from Spain) yet, but watch the open kitchen on my lunch breaks almost daily. Would love to check it out.
I think you can go to Taillevent for about 2-3,000 yen starting for lunch. Believe, but am not sure, that Saint Pau starts at around 8,000 for lunch.
Bon Appetit!

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but this didn't get much attention and we're looking for similar restaurants for one lunch. Did PIERRE GAGNAIRE last time and would like a different suggestion other than TROISGROS (cos we've booked it already :-)
