Well I was just informed that my itinerary for my fall voyage has changed. Sadly I won't be in Cuba due to Mr. Bush's May ruling. I'm kinda bummed since I was going to be at a 4-6 hour reception and dinner with Castro and get to interview him afterwards. Oh well.

Anyway, I will be in Venezuela for 4-5 days this fall and wonder where are some great places to eat. I know nothing about Venezuela and don't know what areas I should visit within my time line. I will be coming into the port at La Guaira, and traveling around the country from there. I'm looking for all kinds of places.

Also what foods is Venezuela known for? I know I have to start my research but am rushed for time.

Thanks
