Have to go for a few days next month. Staying in San Salvador. Any tips on food, lodging, airlines (from LA) appreciated.
El Bodegon is probably one of the best know restaurants in San Salvador. It has been in business for about 30 years and is owned by a Spaniard, serving great paella and other standards.
I haven't been in a while but there are lots of restaurants in the Zona Rosa that are pretty good as well- generally they do good lunch business.
