Restaurants in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Allison Nov 17, 2003 02:51 PM

I will be in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico soon and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for dinner. I have been before but things change quickly down there. We are contemplating Ruth Chris, Ventana, Twin Dolphins and an Italian place near Ruth Chris (can't recall the name). We want to avoid the touristy places, such as the Giggling Marlin, Squid Row, etc., for dinner anyway. We are up for any type of cuisine, as long as it is good! Thanks in advance!

Skip Ruth Chris and go to Edith's. The food is very good and the ambiance is great.
For further rec's please do a Cabo search and I have posted a couple times on other very good lower end taco joints that I still dream about.

If you are looking for a great restaurant you have to go to Mi Casas located off the main plaza in downtown cabo. This place has excellent food and a romantic yet lively crowd, usually have a mariachi band strolling thru and it's mostly open to the sky but seperated from the street so nobody can stop and gaze at what you and your friends are eatting. Seriously don't pass this place up it's hard to find and you will be sorry for missing out! Don't forget to order a Mi Casa coffee for desert, presentation is the key and the taste really kicks you up a notch! Have a blast:)
