        <content>We're off to India next week.  I'd love some suggestions about where to eat in Mumbai, Kochi and Mysore.</content>

      <content>In Cochin a sure bet is to have lunch by the Chinese fishernets. There's a market and you buy the fish or seafood first and then pay the guys at the stalls something for the cooking. Fresh and simple, and will cost you next to nothing. Our lunch was absolutely memorable. Beside that, there's a number of luxury hotels with good although predictable food; we tried and can recommend the Taj Malabar.
 
All in all Cochin makes for a very pleasant stay. Pick a hotel on the Cochin side, which is surprisingly quiet for being a Indian city.
