This may be an odd question, but does anyone happen to know how to contact Diana Kennedy, who lives in Michoacan, Mexico? I'd love to spend some time there working for/with her....

You could try contacting Marilyn Tausend of Culinary Adventures, Inc. in Gig Harbor, WA. She's known Diana for years and actually has a week long culinary trip - "Cooking wiht Diana Kennedy" - scheduled for August 3 - 9, 2003. The URL for Marilyn's site is below.

The tour is hands-on. There are only 6 or 7 people on the tour, and each morning you walk up the hill from the hotel to Diana's house, meet with her and decide what you all want to cook. Then you go to the market with Diana, return to her house, and then cook and eat what you just purchased.

You may not want to take the tour, but Marilyn does know how to contact Diana Kennedy ;-)

As a disclaimer - I do know Marilyn Tausend and I have taken one of her tours and will be taking another one this September.
