It does not attract huge volumes of people, nor are the furnishings topp class BUT we have always enjoyed great sushi at reasonable prices ! Discovered the name change after I posted the question, it always used to have a good selection of dishes reasonably priced, but years since I've been there. Sushi is less good as their rice is a bit too wet, but if you want a well rounded meal of other tasty dishes at a very reasonable price I recommend it. Place on Swallow St (or thereabouts) may have been Yoshino. Extremely good and reasonably priced. Decor is (predictably) a bit clinical but pleasant, certainly classier than the prices would suggest. Allegedy owned by a Japanese fishmonger, though this may be made-up. Possibly best thing is: home-made tofu. Had never understood how such a vile substance could be a staple food until I ate this. Boxed meals are actually good here, rather than filler for cheapskates. Otherwise (though not sushi) Abeno, also recommended below, is excellent though probably couldn't visit too often.
