Looks like we’re in for a new food magazine next month. It’s the brainchild (?) of a former editor of MAXIM and the founder of EAT SOUP, so I imagine it will take the glossy/gossipy approach. The first issue promises to lift the lid on restaurant critics, their personal quirks, expense accounts, bitching, and the like. Could be interesting. Could be awful.

Has any chowhound journo or food biz pro out there seen an advance copy?

Doesn't augur well does it? A former editor of a magazine for people who have never had sex and the founder of the single most loathesome food magazine in history ( with the possible exception of The Observer's monthly offering which is right up/down there )

Oh well, I guess there is always room for more stories about Jamie oliver getting his wife up the duff
