where to get Indian ingredients in San Francisco

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a place in San Francisco or maybe DAly City to get Indian ingredients - I was specfically looking for curry leaves, but I'm sure other things will come up too, which need finding.

I am aware of Vik's in Berkeley, but I was wondering if there is anything closer.

Skip the two stores in San Francisco; they have neither the freshness nor variety of stores just outside the city. My top recommendation would be:

It's truly massive and in the same shopping center as a bunch of great restaurants (Dhaba, Komala Vilas, Udupi Palace).

I know just how old this topic is, but it is still rather relevant to me. A store opened in San Francisco at the end of 2009 that satisfies all my needs.

located in the Safeway parking lot, it is a small store with an excellent selection of fresh packed Indian goods and ingredients. I just returned from a trip with Fresh Curry Leaves, Black Cumin, Nigella, Amchur, and dried Methi leaves. They have a well-organized, clean store with very friendly and helpful management.

this place is way over priced. Jai Ho a new place on fillmore is very resonable.

Bobay Bazar on Valencia. They often, but not always, have curry leaves and they have a good selection of spices and other Indian staples.

Not a big fan of B.Bazaar. I think they let the merchandise sit a little too long and it gets long in the tooth.

Great selection of indian god posters, though!

I can't speak for the quality of the stuff at their market, but they do have some damn tasty ice cream which often gets overlooked amongst the fierce ice cream competition in that area (Bi-Rite, Mitchell's, Humphry Slocombe)
