bagels in Berlin

  • j

As a native NYer, I'm very particular about my bagels, and very dependent upon a decent supply of them as well. I've scoured every bagel-making establishment in Berlin, in the hope of finding something more than a dinner roll with a hole in it. I discovered Salomon Bagels (one branch near Zoo. station on Joachimsthalerstr. the other in the Potsdammer Platz Arkaden). These are great bagels. Dare I say it, but they even rival those in NY. In fact, the owner spent 6 months in NYC learning his trade before he opened up shop.
