        <content>Leave on July 14th for 5 days in Antwerp.  Anybody ever been.  Anybody have any chowhound recommendations?</content>

It's a small place run by the chef and his wife. The proprietor is quite a character, and he cooks large portions of traditional Flemish dishes. Not haute cuisine, just good, hearty food. He'll probably try to sell you a bottle of Augistijn beer, which is worth drinking.
 
Reservations essential.
 
Afterwards go to Den Engel for a draft Westmalle Dubbel or a De Konninck.</content>
