I would like to know if London has any good, not to
expensive ice cream places. I´m spending a year in
London and love ice cream- so I would be really glad
to know!

Hi Jessica,
It took me awhile...BUT, I finally got some info for
you. Since I don't know anyone that lives in London, I
emailed a wonderful London shop called "Joss Graham"
(if you like Asian/ethnic textiles, esp cotton
blockprints from India, be sure to hit this wonderful
small store. See their address below).

Here's the sweet reply:
=========================

Dear Janet,

Thank your for your intriquing message.

The Chocolate Society in Elizabeth Street, Belgravia,
London has perfected a very superior 'new' chocolate
icecream. This shop is worth a visit for any
chocaholic.

Incidentally, the best icecream I have had recently was
in the market at Port Douglas, North Queensland,
Australia. Home made Macadamia Nut and
Leatherwood Honey.

Best wishes

Joss Graham

One of the world's great ice cream flavors is Losey's
Arcadia Ginger and Honey double cream, or something
like that. They sell small containers at both
Selfridges and Harrod's food halls. I remember it
with great fondness.
