new dk steak house and michelles

anyone been to the new dk steakhouse and /or michelle's? i was looking for a new restaurant to go to and wanted to know you're opinions.

As for DK Kodama's, I have not heard of it.

Michel's At the Colony Surf has good food, great view and pretty good ambieance. I have had some problems with the service, both food and wine. Others, however, have not had my experiences. Maybe 2.5 out of 4 isn't bad, but, as it's on the expensive side, I see no reason that it's not a 4:4 spot. I will probably give it another "go," but with all of the great restaurants in/around Honolulu, it will not be for a while.

In the French vein, I'd opt for La Mer at the Halehulani, even if it's 15% more expensive. On each visit, it's been the 4:4, that Michel's should be.

By "michelles," do you mean Michel's At The Colony Surf in San Souci Beach? If so, I've had decent food, great view, but poor service there in the past. If not, just ignore the above comment.

As for dk steak house, I have not heard of it.
