BBQ in Utah
Does anyone know what happened to Southern Plantation? Their ribs were some of the best I've ever had, and their spicy sauce was fantastic! I tried Q4U last month, and while the meat was tastey and the portions large, their "spicy" sauce was disapointingly sweet, not spicy at all. (they had a wide variety of hot sauces in the back, but thats not the same as the well melded flavors of a good BBQ sauce). Their cole slaw however was quite good. Does anyone have a BBQ place in Utah with a rich spicy sauce and well cooked meat that they would recommend? - Thanks

I highly recommend Pat's BBQ. The meat is of great quality, tender, rubbed just perfectly and great sauces to enjoy. Their sides are also classic. I recommend their red beans & rice. Sugarhouse BBQ's meat is always dry and has poor sauces. Q4U is also a decent BBQ place to get your BBQ on.

Give Bubba's BBQ a try if you've never eaten there. It's at 4291 S. 900 East. Their ribs are excellent.

re: Seth Zurer
I've eaten at Fat City a few times, but I've only had their ribs. I tried ordering their hot links once, but they were out of them. Relatives with me on one visit had tri tip sandwiches(I think) and seemed to like them. I think their beans are pretty good, too. More of a southwest chile bean recipe instead of typical barbeque beans.
Thanks for the tip on Panguitch. That's fairly near Bryce Canyon National Park in case anyone is wondering where it is.
