Where can I find Key Limes in No. Virginia/Wash DC?

I need to make a key lime pie, and I want it to be as authentic as possible! Thanks.

While I can't answer your key lime location question, I can vouch that the bottled keylime juice is great to use for the real deal. I've made the pies both ways, laboriously squeezing the teeny, tiny keylimes and measuring the juice. The outcome was indistinguishable--fresh juice from bottled. For my money, the extra work didn't result in a superior product. It was fun, though. HOpe you find those little limes...

Branches of the chain which is called Sutton Place Gourmet in your area (Hayday in CT) carry the limes, at least in CT. Also Trader Joes and Whole Foods Markets. At all these places the supply is seasonal/sporadic. Not sure if they're in stock now.

Nellie and Joe's Key lime lime juice is an excellent sub at 3 bux a bottle. Available all over - Giant, Safeway, Fresh Fields, etc.
