Soups in Manhattan
Most of the soups at Edison Cafe are among the best. Certainly, the chicken matzah ball soup and the borscht rate highly. Hungarian Goulash soup and Cabbage soup are also very good.
The chicken soup is worth making a special trip for, or at the least, walking up to 47th street when you're at 42nd street.
Fleur de Sel's chef Cyril Renaud makes killer soups. His Parsnip Soup With White Truffle & Roasted Chestnut Ravioli is to die for! The rest of the French cuisine he serves is not too shabby either.
As its name implies, the French bistro, La Bonne Soupe, has several tasty soups on the menu + lots of other dishes.
