Hello,

Seeking advice on the best dim sum for an especially adventuresome crowd, IN FLushing is a must.

I have heard that oriental jewels and gam fung are good. Any thoughts?

  1. Gum Fung (the old KB Gardens) has the best selection, and is generally excellent. We usually arrive around 11:30 to avoid waiting for a table, with the collateral benefit that everything is fresh. Highly recommended.

    1. The East Restaurant (the same people who do the buffet) have great dim sum - plus they are away from the Main St. crowd. As an added bonus, on weekends and on weekend off hours everything is 50% off!

      1. I'm going to have to try Gum Fung, but between East and Prince Seafood Restaurant, I preferred Prince. Their room is smaller as is their selection, but they had more interesting items and they were tasty.

        1. East Lake is the best Dim Sum in Flushing, and have been around the longest compared to all the other Dim Sum joints. A bit of a walk from the central area of buses and train, but well worth it, i've been eating there since I was a child and the quality has always been great. They also have a take out area in the front. I reccomend the baked Cha Shu Bau's, they are heaven to your mouth.
