I've had fabulously fresh and tasty cannolis at Grimaldi's Pizza (formerly, Patsy's) on Fulton Street in Brooklyn. Patsy's wife makes them and they are not filled until you order them, so the shell is crispy and not soggy.

Alba and Villabate are now 1 and the same as Villabate took over Alba and expanded. If you are looking for the original owner of Alba - he's in Staten Island now, on Hylan Blvd, not far from Armstrong Ave. I also like Aliatta's cannoli's on the east side of brooklyn.. its East 50something and Ave N. The mini ones are great - you can eat about a dozen of them by yourself!
