    1. At the suggestion of a reader, i had a turkey burger last night at Pauls (Peters??) on 2nd Ave between 7th n 8th Streets.

What a gross experience. Not sure what they are using for the "turkey" component in the sandwich but now, some 22 hours later, my stomach is still protesting.

Gotta run for more Zantac with a Maalox chaser.

Best avoided unless ur hankering for a trip to the nearest emergency room.

Jackson Hole, while not the gold standard, at least is possible.

try cozy soup and burger on broadway and astor. just a diner but it's fat, juicy and well seasoned.

          • I had a great one a while ago at Nadine's (99 Bank Street). It was very juicy & flavorful & they had it on this great onion&poppy seed bun.

              1. I love the turkey burgers at JG Mellons. The bun that it comes on is good too and thr fries are round waffle ones.
When I crave a turkey burger that's where I go!

                  1. They make a mean, fresh, nicely-spiced turkey burger at the Chelsea Grill on 8th Ave and 16th street. Worth the trip. They have great beers on tap too.

                      1. Ottomanelli's on 86th and Madison has the best turkey burger in the city! They use panko (I think) and it is yummy!

                          1. I think the turkey burger at Westville is fantastic. I order it every time with bacon and smoked gouda - served on a soft Portuguese roll. Amazing.
