Rice

The rice at Wonton garden on Mott st. south of Canal
is the best I have had at a noodle shop. It is cooked
with somekind of fat (I have often wondered if it was
chicken) and has notes of ginger and maybe garlic
(sometimes) once I went there and the rice was just
plain rice, I think if they have a very busy day or
something and they run out maybe the don't do such a
good job second time around. But most of the time it's
perfectly cooked slightly oily and delicious. The rest
of the food is servicable and but I go just for the
rice. The roast pork is good sometimes but it has a
tendency to be overcooked and grey.
