Name of restaurant near Skaneateles please?

There's a restaurant somewhere near there whose name has something to do with Monet or Giverny. Its also a hotel or Inn and very beautiful. I know they have a lovely web site. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? Thanks.

The Mirbeau Inn and Spa was inspired by Monet's gardens at Giverny.

Is that what you were trying to think of?

Mirbeau is the hotel/spa/restaurant a la Monet. It's on Route 20 and a splurge for us locals.

A no-reservation informal place is Doug's Fish Fry, on Jordan rd, at the T with Route 20. After eating a a fish dinner at Doug's, get an ice cream cone and take a walk out on the pier of Skaneateles Lake.

Two Italian restaurant's are Rosalie's--upscale-- on Route 20 heading east out of the village--my choice for an expense account dinner-- and Joe's Pasta Garage--Near Doug's. Joe's is more informal, but fun.

Sherwood Inn has great Lake views--Tavern food is reputed to be good.

The Krebs is a 50 plus year old restaurant that has been serving the same family style meal since my Mother, now 78, first went there. It's a little heavy for contemporary tastes, but a nice expedition into culinary past. Great lobster newburg and after- dessert desserts.
