Well, it's a bit of a drive -- almost the other end of the region, but if the weather's nice and you're up for one of the most gorgeous drives you can take in NY, head over to Skaneateles and the dining room at Mirbeau... absolutely wonderful ambience, local fresh ingredients, excellent (in my opinion, read: lots of good burgundies) wine list, interesting choice of dishes. If they're offering any of the pumpkin/squash based soups, you simply MUST have them.

Other than that, another favorite of mine is to hit up the Ithaca farmer's market for a morning/afternoon, pick up some stuff, get some food from the various stalls... usually some good quick veggie, vietnamese, thai, breads, sweets, etc...

But of course, if you're out by Keuka, if you have any passion for wine at all, you HAVE to go do a tasting at the Konstantin Frank vineyards... though the past few years have varied in consistency, they're capable of some of the finest reislings outside of Germany & France.

Bully Hill Vineyards had a pretty good restaurant. It is actually a beautiful complex with amazing views. We did Keuka Lake one day and Seneca Lake another day. We loved the trip and can't wait to go back.
