Will be taking the family (5 adults/2 children) for Thanksgiving Day dinner in Westchester and would appreciate any suggestions for a nice spot. Buffet or sit-down service is OK. Price not a consideration - just children friendly. Thanks in advance.

  1. How old are the kids? Will they make a nice spot (nice for others) into an intolerable one?

If they're the sort who can rise to an occasion, I highly recommend Plumbush, in Cold Spring. We've had Thanksgiving there twice, both times with kids who were thrilled to be in a nice place. Wonderful food and atmosphere.

Depending on age of kids... look at Peter Pratt's Inn in Yorktown Heights.

    2. Just over the CT border is the Greenwich Hyatt Regency. They have a great Thanksgiving buffet at several different seatings. My family has been going there for a couple of years. It's not cheap but we enjoy the atmosphere and food.
