I ate there on New Year's Eve with about 6-7 other people... I had the shell steak (not sure what size) which was pretty good, and my girlfriend had the rare tuna steak, which she really enjoyed... all in all, the whole crowd really enjoyed the food...
there's one major problem: there is zero atmosphere... the dining room itself is very, very plain and kind of boring... the biggest thing is that when you first walk in, the front room is the bar... a really divey looking bar complete with that quickmatch lotto thing they have at diners and bowling alleys... the bartender was not exactly polite (to say the least) and made horrible drinks... having that as the first thing you see before dinner really kills the mood...
My girlfriend and I are far from snobs when it comes to restaurants, but even though the food was good, it wasn't good enough to make us want to go back...there's too many other places to try... hope this helps...

Thanks, actually I went there prior to reading your reply and pretty much feel the same way. I thought I made a mistake when I walked in to what seemed like a neighborhood bar looking for a decent restaurant. The food was wannabe upscale (Chilean Sea Bass, various steak cuts - with descriptions!, etc.) But, yeah,... it was a bar trying to present "fine dining". I will give them an A for effort and wish them luck.
BTW - my steak (a Porterhouse) was good and actually properly cooked to medium rare. The others in my party were pleased with their shrimp and their fish dinners. The mozzerella stack appetizer was also good.

Ifound the food to be top shelf the TBone steak was the best I have ever ate and yes I am a steak addict .
The serice was very good.I am not that intrested in decor. Ilike to see most of their effort go into the food and service.

Have you ever been to Peter Lugers steak house. Incredible steak but the place has the character of a warehouse and the waiter are lets say a bit gruff. To top it off they dont take credit cards and its really expensive. Point is I would rather have a great steak in a bad place than a horrible steak in a place with ambiance. Terry G isnt Peter Luger but they do have good steak.
