I also go to Toros in Paterson and Clifton. if you havent tried Toros, you should. As for Lodos, Turkish food offers a lot of Mezes that are vegetarian (Egplant dishes, sauteed/marinated vegetables, humous, etc.) I heard they have an excellent dish with Bulghur wheat (sort of like a couscous). There portions are really generous. Also, make sure you order the Shepards salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, mint, olive oil and lemon juice). When you go to Toros, they have similar fare. Also try Samahdan on Main in Paterson. Real reasonable food (arabic). Every dinner comes with a salad, humous and babaganoush. also Fattals has good concession food (a real good fava bean dish with Garlic, lemon juice and olive oil, they also have great falafel).
