I'm looking for a baker that can create wedding reception centerpieces of gorgeous cupcakes that look like real flowers and taste great too. My wedding is in New Rochelle. The baker would have to be willing to deliver and do the set-up. Any recommendations?

Cupcake Cafe on Ninth Ave. in NYC has just what you are looking for, but, I'm not sure that they deliver.

I asked them about delivery about three years ago and they did not deliver. However, things may have changed.

Give them a call!

There is a woman that does deliveries for all the big time bakers in the city. I feel like I just read an article about her. Was it in the Times? MArtha Stewarts Weddings? I 'll try and backtrack. I don't think Cup Cake Cafe delivers, beautiful; as they are, I think toooo buttery frosting.

Thanks for the effort I really appreciate it. Cupcake cafe doesn't deliver. I need delivery and the whole set-up apparatus to create something for the centerpiece - whatever the cupcakes will sit on/in.

The piece you are referring to was in the NYT Mag, devoted entirely to weddings about 3 or 4 weeks ago.

I'm sure it could be found online.

I was married in New Rochelle - in 1999 at the Glen Island Harbor Club - I am pretty sure we had one of the 1st cupcake wedding cakes & they were from Cupcake Cafe

We had some guy Devon something design the cake, & the individual cupcakes & he went to cupcake cafe & picked up & setup the whole cake - he even met with our florist & the flowers on the cupcakes matched those in the rest of the wedding.

Let me know if I can be of more help.
