The Benriner cost $18.99, which is a lot cheaper than I've seen it for online. They also have woks starting at about $8.00. The benriner is the 3 1/2 inch (2 1/2 slicing area) wide model not the wider 5 inch one, but it seems just about perfect for potatoes and that's all that really matters. I also bought some Pearl River Bridge Superior Dark Soy Sauce there. John Thorne (www.outlawcook.com) recommends it in the latest issue of Simple Cooking.
