Best pizza in Huntington

I'm looking for recommendations for the best takeout pizza in Huntington. I've had Junior's(fair), J and J's in Huntington Station (good)plus others that were not memorable. We like either puffy crusts or thin crusts with tomato sauce, cheese and vegetable toppings.

Not in Huntington Village but in Huntington Township is Paradise Pizza on Laurel Road in Northport.

Little Vincent's is the best. Jimmy's of Greenlawn, Centerport and Northport is very good too. Try their Buffalo Chicken.

Umbertos makes a very good pizza, including a brick oven Margherita with fresh mozzarella and basil. Jimmy's in Greenlawn is good traditional.

I don't live on Long Island any longer but we used to go to Massa's on Jericho Turnpike just west of the mall. It is very thin crust brick oven pizza. We always ate it there so I don't know how well it travels but it was very, very good.

DiRaimo's gets my nod.I haven'ttried 34 New St, but vincent's doesn't rate despite its authenticity as a real pizzeria.

IMHO, the best pizza in Huntington is without a doubt Little Vincent's. It's on the corner of NY Avenue (RT 100) and Main st (25A). It is a Pizzaria - nothing but pizza - and it is GOOD!

This will have me laughing for days. I grew up in Huntington. LV was always known as the place of last resort. It was the pizzeria everyone went to when they were drunk and every other place had already closed. The pizza was dreadful.

Back in the day DiRaimos and Juniors were known as the best pizza places. My family always went with DiRaimo. They made a good Sicilian pie.

At some point they switched to Umberto's on Jericho Tpke. So much better than anything in the village. They sold out to Sbarro's about 8-9 years ago. He kept the Hew Hyde Park location but sold Huntington and then opened a slew of spots funded by Sbarro. They used his recipes but didn't want to spend the money on quality ingredients so there was a definite decline in the food. I've heard that Umberto may have reclaimed ownership of the Huntington location but I'm not positive.

My parents still live in Huntington and they love Massa's. It's not in the village but it's a very good coal oven pie. Unfortunately the quality really declines if you try to take it out. It needs to be eaten a few minutes out of the oven.

We have always enjoyed DiRaimo on Wall Street.

Personally I like 34 New Street but then again, I am one of "those" who think Emilio's in Commack has the best on LI.
