There's the Peking Duck House in Closter, I think it is only on Sundays, they have all you can eat Chinese, including Peking duck (which is pretty good), also China 46 on Rt. 46 has a sunday buffet brunch for 11.95, but I have never been to it, although I've read good things about it.

The only one that has been consistently clean and good is the one on Route 17 south in Mahwah. It's located in a strip mall.

I am addicted to chinese buffets. There's something about being able to choose from so many dishes without having to cook them myself. Having said that, I(nor my wife or 10yr old daughter)will eat the mediocre fare found at most buffets.
After too much trial and error I can recommend the following buffets:

        1. Dynasty Buffet in Saddle Brook. The selection isn't as great as some other buffets but the quality of all the dishes is superior to most. They are also very consistent.Perphaps the greatest difference between Dynasty and the others is that each dish tastes like a unique dish not like every other one. My favorite food here is the salt and pepper squid. They have an extensive grill with real good ribs, chicken, salmon etc. The service is very good and the fried food always goes down better than I have any right to expect.(top quality oil?) A 4* Buffet

        2. We also like the new Majestic Buffet on rt 23 next to the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne. They have a very large selection with many authentic oriental dishes i.e. frogs legs in black bean sauce, along with all the traditional ones. My only reservation about this buffet is that my favorite dish, salt and pepper squid wasn't present either time we went. 3* Buffet

        3. For a somewhat different experience we like Minadi Japanese Buffet in Little Ferry(right off the circle). They charge $25pp for an unbelievable array of fresh sushi, hot and cold Japanese appetizers as well as a good selection of hot dishes like tempura, noodles soups etc. This place is unique and a treat if you like sushi. I giveit 3*'s and I don't eat sushi.

        Hope this helps!!!!!

China Buffet is on Rte. 17 south at Airmont Road in Ramsey. It's about the best around. That it's recommended by colleagues from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland is enough confirmation for me. I like it anyway, but that adds another level.

I wend to the Peking Duck house in Closter for the Sunday Brunch buffet. The selection was very small (for rice selection they only offered fried rice), but the quality of food was very fresh. They even have a guy come over with a cart of dumplings which you can choose to have fried or steamed right in front of you.

One of my fav's was the fried beef wontons.

All in all it was great food and we left overly stuffed for only $27 (for 2 people). I will go back to try the regular menu.
