Hi all. I'm new to the three village area and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good brunch place here or close by. Open to something upscale as well as divey.
Thanks in advance.

I just saw an ad that Kitchen a Bistro in St. James will be open for brunch Saturday and Sunday. It's a small place off Moriches Rd. and sensational for lunch and dinner. If there's no wait for a table, it's probably a good bet.

The Full Moon Cafe across from the Stonybrook train station (used to be The Park Bench years ago) has new owners, they will be open for lunch as well as dinner, and are trying for an Arthur Ave ambience.

The Elk Street Grill on Main Street in Port Jefferson has a delicious, if upscale, brunch. "Toast," a recent addition around the corner (next to Pasta Pasta) also has some delicious breakfast and lunch offerings, at a more reasonable price. Everything is tasty.
