I am looking for a grocery store with a wide selection of Latin American produce--multiple varities of chilies (serrano, anaheim, poblanos...) and tomatillos specifically. Preferrably in Northern Westchester, but I will travel. The local (Peekskill) A&P has nothing, and the ShopRite has all but the anaheims. The bodegas in town have no peppers/chilies at all. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

as rjka mentioned, there are a number in port chester. There are two mexican groceries on Main street, between Midland and Westchester ave. The one closer to Midland is better and has a good selection of pretty much anything you could possibly be looking for.

If you are closer to Mt. Kisco, the Azteca restaurant on the main drag has a very small grocery section, where they sell canned goods, as well as some dried chilis, tomatillos and other produce items.

I also know there are a few places in White Plains, but I'm drawing a blank.

Also, if you are just looking for tomatillos and some assorted chilis... my stop & shop carries all of those... if you have a big one nearby, may not be a bad bet.

There is a place just north of the Arcadian shopping center on Route 9 in Ossining, next door to Dunkin Donuts. However, the best place in Ossining is undoubtedly C-town (renamed something-Seasonings), on Croton Avenue near Dale Avenue, not far from Route 9. People all over town are crazy for the quality of the produce there. It's opposite Ossining Wine and Liquor and has a Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts in the same parking lot.
