I am visiting a vendor in Long Island (Holtsville) at the end of the month.

What do you suggest for a business supper (mid to to range)? No french cuisine please , we are have a great selection here in Montreal...

Try us, we're adventurous and looking for local & fresh produce, (I know it's winter!)

A few good ones close to Holbrook, The Bellport on main street in Bellport, Painters on South Country Road in Brookhaven and Cilantros on Montauk Highway in Blue Point or it may be considered Bayport.

Depends on how formal you want to be. I dig the Sage Cafe in Bluepoint (good pub food), Thai Gourmet in Port Jefferson Station, Cafe Joelle (new American/Italian) in Sayville, Saviano's dining room (old school Italian done really well) in Bohemia. I grew up in Holtsville, and there isn't much there. Come to think of it, there isn't ANYTHING there!!
