Are there any suggestions for good bialys in Western Nassau county. There seem to be plenty of decent bagels but no one seems to have picked up on the bialy.

Any suggestions?

There is only one Bialy Place in the world on Grand Street near the Williamsburgh Bridge in Manhattan. They make them and send them to the stores. You can buy them hot there and also by Poppy Seed Disks that are fabulous - also known as Pletzel

The name of the above mentioned Only Bialy Place in the World is Kossar's...it's on Grand St. and Essex (F train to Delancy). Don't bother with anyplace else!
