  1. I realize that this is too late for your dinner, but I just read your message.

I went one time two years ago and thought the food was fine (but not great). However, I wouldn't return because it's a small dining room with no separate nonsmoking section. That just about kills a place for me.

Curious to know if that's changed. And how did you enjoy your meal?

    1. I just searched the boards and this is the last entry for Trattoria Toscana. Foodie friends have spoken well of the place, but I am curious that it doesn't generate more interest if it's any good. Anyone else been since 2002?

I was there once (it's pretty close to me)-maybe in 2002!-and didn't go back. I remember the room being small, and it's on RT10, and I mean feet away from the traffic. Food was standard North Jersey Italian.

I was also there once, years ago and while it wasn't bad, it also wasn't very good. I also remember at the end of the meal being presented with a bill in very scratchy messy handwriting with a series of charges (we were a party of about 6) that were difficult to match up to our meal, and the server was annoyed when we asked for clarification
