Any ideas for breakfast in Westport or Norwalk for a Monday morning? (Lots of restaurants are closed on Monday)

Post Road Diner in Norwalk. It's a funky place with really good food -- especially the sausage.

Probably have seen you there, Suzyrose, since I tend to visit at least twice a week (though sometimes it's twice a day). I love those people and the food! I had filet of sole with fresh tomatoes, feta and olives last night. So good.

Are we talking about the Silver Star at exit 14, RT. 95 in Norwalk?

Try the Westport diner on the Post Road, Sherwood Island exit. My husband says it is the Sherwood Diner; I believe it is the Westport Diner. However, get off on the exit, go towards Westport and you can see it from the right of the stop sign on the Post Rd. Excellent, fairly non=greasy for it's type. Great bran muffins, pancakes, omelets, eggs etc. Mabel
