  1. How about the Old Mill in Spring Lake? I always got a very good meal there.

Thanks Jill, but, we have eaten there a number of times and have always had a good meal there. We just wanted to find somewhere else to go. Thanks again!

    2. Not in Brick, but close is Rod's in Sea Girt. It sounds like what you are looking for.

Thanks for responding to our post for a So Jersey area restaurant that would have "plain" food. We wound up at Rod's in Sea Girt. Luckily, we got the "garden room". Very nice. We had our "senior" with us, so we were early, and decided on trying the "early bird" specials. Good soups, nice appys, great salad dressings. We got our plain baked potato and plain fresh peas. Entrees and desserts were generally pretty good....we had from filet mignon, steak, turkey and scallops. Mom was pleased, so we definitely can go back....LOL. That says it all.

Next, we'll probably try Clark's Landing in Pt.Pleasant. Any comments on Clarks's? Thanks again
