  1. I read somewhere that Huntington has more Italian restaurants than Tuscany.Your choice is unlimited. On the very street of the IMAC you also have 3 Greek, 3 Mexican plus fast food places. There is a very popular diner named Golden Dolphin on Main Street two blocks west of the theater. The food is abundant. There are a few upscale Italian within walking distance. Hope that helps

    1. My favorite restaurant by far in Huntington is Aix-en-Provence, on New York Avenue about 1-2 miles north of Main Street. Same owner/chef as Barney's in Locust Valley, similar menu and style.

Excellent risotto du jour (more like "du mois"), duck breast, and lamb dishes. Service is good, wine list is very good.

Another good choice would be Red, also on New York Avenue, about a quarter-mile south of Main.

For what it's worth, there are a lot of Italian places in the same vicinity, but I find the ones I've tried to be ordinary.
